Just a few days ago I found a post online about“Reversible weddings” and to be honest, it sounds funny, different and it perhaps it might worthy to try…
What are “Reverse weddings”? well, they are weddings in a non- traditional order, which mean that you start with the reception dinner and ends the night with the ceremony.
In my case it sounds a very funny, nonconventional idea perfect for a Destination Wedding or to surprise your guest with an unexpected wedding ceremony… however in my personal opinion, this might works better for a small intimate wedding for some reasons…
- Have a dinner before implies must of the time have the open bar, or alcoholic beverages available earlier than the ceremony…
- It would be easier to explain the concept of a “Reverse Wedding” to small group of people…
- Perfect for Destination Weddings, why? You can fun earlier, dance, and enjoy time with your love ones, and then right after the ceremony leave.
And if I can add something extra to the above points, is that this “Reverse” ceremony can also be apply for Vows Renewal ceremonies… Destination Vows Renewal ceremonies starts to be also really popular between different couples, some of them travel only with the family; other prefers to bring their family and friends and make it little bigger.. not as big as a wedding but still meaningful for them…
